Connectionists: Pre-FENS Workshop (July 6, Barcelona) on Computational Modelling of Dynamic Systems in Psychiatry

Dear colleagues,
On the occasion of the FENS Forum 2026 in Barcelona, we are delighted to invite you to a pre-FENS workshop titled:
"Computational Modelling of Dynamic Systems in Psychiatry"
which we are organizing on July 6th, 2026 at the Auditorium Esteve, CEK (Rossello 149-153, 08036 Barcelona, Spain).

As neuroscience continues to generate increasingly rich datasets, both in basic research laboratories and in clinical settings, this workshop will focus on how computational modeling can bridge neural dynamics and clinical phenomena. Bringing together leading experts, we will discuss multi-scale and network approaches, from circuits to whole-brain models, to better understand psychiatric and neurological disorders and advance predictive, mechanistic frameworks with translational potential.
