The 6th International Symposium on Complex Systems (ISCS 2026) invites submissions to its workshops, gathering researchers in network science, artificial intelligence, and complex systems. The workshops foster interdisciplinary exchange on theoretical advances, computational methods, and real-world applications.

We welcome full papers, short papers, and extended abstracts that contribute to methodological, theoretical, and applied research in complex systems.

Large real-world networks (social, biological, technological, transportation) are often too complex for direct analysis.
This workshop focuses on graph sparsification, i.e., extracting meaningful backbones while preserving essential structural properties.
Topics include:

  *   Sparsification methods and backbone extraction
  *   Learning-based approaches for graph simplification
  *   Weighted and structured network sparsification
  *   Applications of sparsified graphs

We welcome interdisciplinary contributions combining AI, NLP, machine learning, and complexity science.

  *   Network analysis and robustness
  *   Multi-agent and telemedicine systems
  *   Time-series forecasting and simulations
  *   Complexity metrics for AI and NLP
  *   Neuro-symbolic approaches
