Connectionists: [Job] Postdoc in modern AI methods, University of Hildesheim, deadline May 3

Dear colleagues,

The Information Systems and Machine Learning Lab (ISMLL, https://ismll.de) and 
the Methods Center at the University of Hildesheim are hiring a postdoctoral 
researcher in modern AI methods.

The position is full-time, fixed-term for three years, and remunerated according 
to TV-L E 13.

The focus of the position is research: approximately two-thirds of the time will 
be dedicated to joint research with ISMLL on topics including deep learning, 
neurosymbolic reasoning, time series, generative AI, and explainable AI. The 
remaining third covers teaching, workshops, and consulting on AI methods for 
researchers across all disciplines, embedded in the Methods Center.

We are looking for a candidate with a completed PhD, preferably in computer 
science, a publication record in AI, hands-on experience with common frameworks 
such as PyTorch, and the ability to communicate complex technical content to 
interdisciplinary audiences. Very good English and German skills are required.
