Connectionists: Competition at IJCAI

Dear colleagues,

We should like to draw your attention on the IJCAI 2025 competition on "AI for Drinking Water Chlorination". This competition explores the potential of AI, such as reinforcement learning, for controlling water chlorination in a simulated water distribution system (modelled according to a realistic background). The task is to control the injection of chlorine at 5 locations, based on the readings of a few strategically placed hydraulic and chlorine sensors only.

Submission deadline: 1st August, 2025
