Connectionists: Information theory workshop at CNS*2025 -- call for contributed talks

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the *Workshop on Methods of Information
Theory in Computational Neuroscience

<https://kgatica.github.io/CNS2025-InfoTeory-W.io/>will be held once again
at the 34th Annual Computational Neuroscience Meeting (*CNS*2025
<https://www.cnsorg.org/cns-2025>* conference), in *Florence, Italy*.
The workshop will be held during sessions over the last two days (*8th and
9th of July 2025*) of the main conference.

Our confirmed *speakers* so far include the following:


   - Giovanni Petri, Northeastern University London, UK
   - Luca Faes, University of Palermo, Italy
   - Xenia Kobeleva, Ruhr University, Germany
   - Marilyn Gatica, Northeastern University London, UK
   - Maria Pope , Indiana University, USA

   - Marius Pille , Charité – Berlin University of Medicine, Germany
   - ... more TBA!


We would like to *call for contributions* to talks. If you are interested
in contributing a talk, please send a title and abstract to Marilyn Gatica (
marilyn.gatica at nulondon.ac.uk) and Joseph Lizier (
joseph.lizier at sydney.edu.au). Earlier submissions and those from
female/minority speakers will be prioritised.

Please pay attention to the registration for CNS*2025 (deadlines and fees),
as workshop registration at least is required for attendance, and see our

details.
