CALL FOR TUTORIALS – DEADLINE 16th APRIL – ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT!

You are invited to submit tutorial proposals for the 23rd International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing - ICIAP 2025, which will be held in Rome, Italy, on September 15th - 19th, 2025.

AIM AND SCOPE

ICIAP 2025 is the 23rd edition of a well-established series of conferences organized every two years by CVPL, the Italian Member Society of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).

In addition to oral and poster sessions, invited keynote talks, and competitions, tutorials at ICIAP 2025 will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about emerging topics and recent advances in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Image Processing.

Tutorial topics should be relevant to the current state of the art in the research area of interest and provide surveys and new perspectives to current trends.

Tutorials will take place on September 15 and 16, 2025, both half (max. 4 hours) and full day (max. 8 hours) options.

Attendance will mainly consist of graduate students and experts in the field from both academia and industry sectors.

REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR PROPOSALS

  *   Title of the tutorial
  *   Name, titles, affiliations, emails, brief bios and photos of all tutorial organizers
  *   Preference for half- or full-day event (as well as constraints on the date if applicable). Full-day events require a brief justification.
  *   An abstract of the tutorial (max. 1500 characters)
  *   Tutorial description with a syllabus of the topics to be covered (max. 5000 characters)
  *   Information about previous experience in tutorial organization (provide links if available)
  *   Links to recorded talks given by the presenters (if available)
  *   Description of or links to any planned materials or resources to be distributed to attendees (if available)

The proposals will be evaluated by the tutorial chairs and the conference organizers based on their technical quality, relevance, and timeliness of the topic as well as the quality of the proposal.
