Connectionists: [Call for Papers] EMERGE 2025 @MICCAI — Early-Career Workshop | Deadline June 30

Dear colleagues,  

The 2nd edition of the EMERGE Workshop is a MICCAI Student Board (MSB) initiative designed to empower early-career, student-led research in medical image computing and computer-assisted interventions.  

We welcome submissions across all MICCAI-relevant topics, including (but not limited to): image analysis, machine learning for healthcare, computer vision in biomedicine, generative models, clinical applications, and fairness/ethics in medical AI.

📍 Half-day satellite event at MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea.  
📝 Submission Deadline: June 30, 2025

🌟 Why submit to EMERGE? 

Support for early-career researchers: 
	- First authors must be early-career (students); young scientists as last authors are strongly encouraged! 

Two Tracks: 
	- Archival Track: Accepted papers will be published in Springer LNCS proceedings 
	- Non-Archival Track: Oral presentation only, ideal for accepted MICCAI posters

Selected works will be invited to submit extended versions to MELBA In-person networking and mentoring opportunities during MICCAI.
