Dear all,

The non-archival track (formally the Workshop track) has extended the deadline to August 4 for late-breaking submissions! This means that you still have a chance to join us in New York City and present your work to the AutoML community!

If you have work that was recently published, research in progress with preliminary results, a position paper, or even non-traditional content such as videos, blogposts, demos, or educational materials, we encourage you to submit!

The event will include invited talks by experts such as Manuela Veloso (JPMorgan Chase), Andrew Gordon Wilson (New York University), Kevin Leyton-Brown (University of British Columbia), Erin LeDell (Distributional), Atlas Wang (University of Texas at Austin), and Juliana Freire (NYU Tandon School of Engineering).

CALL FOR PAPERS

________________________________

The reviewing process for this track will be lightweight, with the primary criterion for acceptance being interesting for the AutoML community. We invite contributions for this track in a variety of formats:

  1. Short papers: describing emerging work, preliminary results, position papers, etc., for discussion at the conference (4 pages or fewer, excluding references and supplemental material).

  2. Hot-off-the-press papers: peer-reviewed papers accepted at journals or conferences in 2024 and 2025 on topics of interest to the AutoML community.

  3. Non-traditional content beyond the realm of traditional academic papers: videos, interactive demos, competitions, blog posts, surveys, illustrations, reproducibility studies, art exhibitions, educational content, success stories, etc., published in 2024 and 2025 of interest to the AutoML community. The only limit is your creativity!

Submissions selected for presentation at the conference will be announced and advertised on the conference website, but will not be archived in the proceedings of the conference.

If you have something in mind that doesn't quite fit the categories above, feel free to contact the track chairs, Katharina Eggensperger and Nick Erickson, at nonarchival-2025 at automl.cc<mailto:nonarchival-2025 at automl.cc>
