The Department of Computer Science at the University of Exeter is proud to launch the Google-DeepMind Research Ready Program, an eight-week paid summer internship designed to inspire and empower the next generation of AI innovators. Taking place from 23 June to 18 August 2025, at the Streatham Campus, this unique opportunity combines cutting-edge research, professional development, and world-class mentorship.

    Groundbreaking AI Research

Who Can Apply?

This program is open to UK residents specifically in the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree or those with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, or related fields. Applicants must also meet at least one socioeconomic criterion (e.g., free school meals, care experience, etc.).
