Connectionists: CfP SDS 2025: The IEEE Swis Conferen on Data Science (Deadline: Feb 07, 2025)

Dear colleagues,

please consider submitting original research work at the intersection of AI, data science, and applications to the IEEE SDS 2025, to be held in Zurich, Switzerland, on June 26-27, 2025.

Specifically, address central questions such as:

  *   What novel developments in AI, machine learning, data representations, and computing frameworks and tools can open new application domains?
  *   Which interesting applications challenge the state of the art?
  *   Which applications address the most urgent societal or business needs but currently lack efficient solutions?

We invite original research submissions focusing on novelty, best practice and use case orientation. Submissions are required to demonstrate both scientific-technical depth and practical applicability, encompassing methods along the full pipeline of data science and AI systems - from data acquisition and data management, through data analysis using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), to visualization, data product design, and the management of societal effects.

Topics of Interest Topics include but are not limited to, the following key focus areas for 2025:

  *   Large Language and Foundation Models
  *   Human-AI Interaction
  *   AI and Data Analytics for Science
  *   AI and Society

There are short (4 pages, IEEE 2-column format) and long papers (8 pages) are accepted. All accepted publications will by published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore. The acceptance rate of 2024 was ~35%.

Important dates:
Submission deadline: February 7, 2025
Review until: March 20, 2025
Rebuttal Period: March 31 - April 4 2025
Decision Notification: April 16, 2025
