Connectionists: ICANN 2024 - Tox24 challenge

ICANN2024 is proud to host the Tox24 challenge https://e-nns.org/icann2024/challenge, which is designed to assess the latest progress in computational methods for predicting in vitro activity of compounds.

The training and test sets consist of chemicals and compounds that have been tested for activity against Transthyretin (TTR) by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Participants will be competing for a prize of 1000€, to be awarded to the developers of the winning model.

Briefly: 1012 compounds of the training set and 200 compound of the leaderboard set are made available to the participants for the development of models (leaderboard set to be released on August 15th)  The winning model will be determined after September 1st 2024 using a test set of 300 compounds. Predictions can be submitted online (https://ochem.eu/challenge/upload.do) or via e-mail (challenge at icann2024.org<mailto:challenge at icann2024.org>). The final model submitted by each team before the deadline will be used to determine the winner.

We encourage all Machine Learning experts to participate in this challenge.
