- Multi-object tracking and prediction
- Graph neural networks
- Causal representation learning
- Uncertainty estimation in deep networks
- Self-supervised and unsupervised learning
About the Lab and the city of Freiburg:
The Neurorobotics Lab is part of the ELLIS Unit Freiburg, the Department of Computer Science, and the BrainLinks-BrainTools Center. In addition, we tightly collaborate with the Collaborative Research Institute Intelligent Oncology (CRIION) in Freiburg. Access to state-of-the-art robotics and compute facilities is available.
According to Wikipedia, Freiburg is "known for its ancient university and its medieval munster, as well as for its high standard of living and advanced environmental practices. The city is situated in the heart of a major wine-growing region and serves as the primary tourist entry point to the scenic beauty of the Black Forest. According to meteorological statistics, the city is the sunniest and warmest in Germany."
Please send your curriculum vitae and (unofficial) master’s transcripts with an expression of interest via email to nrapplications at cs.uni-freiburg.de as soon as possible. Selected candidates will be asked for further application documents. The call closes as soon as suitable candidates are found.
