Connectionists: Call for applications - Brains for Brains Young Researcher Award

International early career scientists who have shown their outstanding potential at a very early career stage are invited to apply for the Brains for Brains Award. You can win a 2000 € travel grant to join the Bernstein Conference 2024 and visit labs of Bernstein members.

Who can apply?

International students of all nationalities from relevant disciplines (biology, medicine, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, psychology, etc.) who plan to pursue a research career in computational neuroscience and who have at least one peer reviewed publication (as co-author) or peer reviewed conference abstract (as first author).

The award is endowed with:

  *   a travel grant of 2.000 € for a one-week trip to Germany, including free participation at the Bernstein Conference 2024 in Frankfurt
  *   the chance to present your research as a talk and as a poster at the Bernstein Conference 2024
  *   individually planned visits to labs of the Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience
