Dear researchers,

The Guangdong Institute of Smart Education at Jinan University invites
applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at all levels
(Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor). Applications
are sought in all areas of Artificial Intelligence, including but not
limited to the following areas:  machine learning, computer vision, natural
language processing, knowledge representation and reasoning, etc.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or its professional equivalent by the starting
date of the appointment.

Jinan University (JNU, https://english.jnu.edu.cn/) is a public research
university based in Guangzhou, China. It is the first Chinese university to
recruit foreign students and globally ranked 401-500 by the 2021 Academic
Ranking of World Universities. Guangdong Institute of Smart Education (ISE,
https://ise.jnu.edu.cn/) established on June 18, 2021, is an academic
department of JNU and focuses on integrating AI, education technology,
knowledge data mining, and other circuits of CS to push forward the
frontiers of CS research for smart education sectors, e.g., AI education
evaluation, educational database system, recommendation algorithms for
smart education, personalized educating, etc.


Salary. JNU offers local competitive salaries for the ISE faculties. Annual
salary (300,000-750,000 RMB), start-up research funding (200,000-3,000,000
RMB), settlement funding (200,000-2,000,000 RMB) or housing benefit (for
Postdoc), ample laboratory space, excellent research equipment and support,
faculty-exclusive resources for healthcare and offspring education will be
provided. The deal to distinguished / leading tenured professors will be
made according to the further negotiation.

Education），智研院是综合性科学研究、技术开发和成果转化的科研平台，位于暨南大学（石牌校区）曾宪梓科学馆5楼。目前拥有粤港澳智慧教育重点实验室与广东省教育大数据服务与应用工程技术研究中心等平台，依托“计算机科学与技术”“网络空间安全”两个一级学科博士点招收培养博士生，以及“计算机科学与技术”
“网络空间安全”“电子信息”三个一级学科硕士点招收培养学术型与工程型硕士生。

智研院拥有一批来自海内外著名高校的教学科研队伍，主要研究方向为人工智能教育、大数据挖掘、知识推理、信息安全、信息可视化与交互等领域，旨在发挥暨大与省教育厅的平台与资源优势，以及粤港澳大湾区建设下的科研环境优势，专注于研究智慧教育评价、智慧教研、智能教学推荐、个性化教育、信息化教学环境设计等相关研究。
为进一步汇聚优秀人才，提升学科建设水平，现向海内外公开招聘教学科研系列人员及博士后多名。欢迎有志于智慧教育相关研究、计算机科学与技术等研究方向的高层次人才前来应聘。

具体招聘条件与待遇如下：

一、教学科研人员招聘要求
1、杰出人才。拥有良好的学术声誉和学术领导能力，取得国际同行公认的标志性成果，能担任本学科带头人。
2、领军人才。拥有良好的学术声誉，取得国内同行公认的标志性成果。能担任本学科或方向带头人。
3、优秀青年人才。在国内外知名大学取得博士学位，在本领域已经取得一定原创性或代表性成果，且在同行中具有较大的发展潜力。
4、博士后。获得国内外高校博士学位不超过3年的博士，或通过博士学位答辩的应届博士。

二、待遇条件
1、国家级领军人才/学科带头人岗位
年薪税前约65-140万元，具体面议。

2、优秀青年教学科研岗
1）年薪税前约30-75万元（入选青蓝学者，首聘期可在年薪基础上增加5万元/年。入选广东省博士后项目，首聘期可在年薪基础上增加10万元/年，首聘期满后继续在校工作3年，额外再增加40万元）；
2）提供税前最高200万元购房补贴和安家费（同城引进除外）；
3）为新进教师发放租房补贴3年，中级约1.8万元/年，副高约2.4万元/年，正高约3.6万元/年。
3、专职科研特聘岗
年薪酬待遇税前约21-38万元，以及最高17万元奖励绩效。

4、博士后
提供丰厚的年薪，综合考评结果特优者学校可一次性奖励30万元，享受学校公费医疗待遇等。其他条件根据国家和广东省政策执行。

正式教学科研人员还可享受以下配套待遇（不限于）：
1、落户学校或办理人才绿卡，子女随迁；
2、子女享受优质附属中小幼教育资源；
3、每年体检、享受优质附属三甲医院医疗保障服务。
4、第三层次及以上人才可按学校规定申请校内周转房。
