The Master of Science in Neuroscience program is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time program that aims to provide students with diverse backgrounds of undergraduate education with updated knowledge and practical techniques of basic and translational neuroscience. The program also encourages students to think critically about emerging neuroscience and neuroscience-related interdisciplinary research, technology, education, and innovation.

The program consists of core courses covering topics such as neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology, neuroimaging, neuropsychology, and neuroethics. Students can also choose from a range of elective courses that cover specialized areas such as neural engineering, computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical neuroscience. In addition, students will have the opportunity to conduct a research project under the supervision of experienced faculty members from the Department of Biomedical Engineering or other collaborating departments.

The admission requirements for the program are:

- A bachelor's degree with honours or an equivalent qualification in life science / bioengineering / psychology / medicine / dentistry / biostatistics / a related discipline
- Fulfilment of the University's General Entrance Requirements
- A satisfactory performance in an interview
