Connectionists: Tenure track opening in Computational Social Science at UCLA

Dear Colleagues,

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Department of
Communication invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the
level of Assistant Professor with an emphasis on developing and/or applying
computational social science methods to study communication.

Potential areas of research include (but are by no means limited to)
agent-based or other computational modeling, network science, machine
learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, analysis of
large audio and/or video datasets, gathering and analysis of digital trace
data, and the use of virtual lab or field experiments.
