The International Conference on Optimization and Learning – OLA 2023 –
welcomes presentations that cover any aspects of optimization, machine
learning and deep learning research.



The Special Session "*Advanced Methods for Anomalies Forecasting and
Detection*" is focused on the design and implementation of systems for the
forecasting and detection of anomalous data in various fields, exploiting
the power of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, starting from images,
textual data, log messages and space-time sequences.



Topics of interest include (not limited to):

- Big Data Analytics and Predictive Maintenance in Industry

- Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Anomaly Detection

- Computer Vision and Intelligent detection in video surveillance

- Fake news and Computer Forensics for Deepfake

- Anomalies of Pedestrian Flows, Evacuation Dynamics, and Crowd Prediction
Systems

- Anomalies in physical, biological systems, astrophysical and
meteorological data

- Disaster risk management and people safety

- Fraud Detection, Financial Problems and Risk Management

- Fault Detection and management of Industrial Control Systems

- Intrusion Detection and Network Anomalies

All the papers have to be submitted following the instructions indicated on
the OLA 2023 website. The deadline for contribution paper submission is
*December 16, 2022*.

notification of acceptance:        February 17, 2022



** PAPER SUBMISSION:

OLA 2023 accepts submissions in two different formats:

1) S1: Extended abstracts of work-in-progress and position papers of a
maximum of 3 pages

2) S2: Original research contributions of a maximum of 10 pages in Springer
format

A SCOPUS and DBLP indexed Springer book will be published for accepted long
papers (S2 type contributions only). Special session papers are treated the
same way as regular conference papers.
