Hello,

This year, the Center for Language and Speech Processing at Johns Hopkins University is hosting a student-run application support program for underrepresented students in computer science and electrical engineering, as well as an Admissions AMA.

Applicants will receive a one-time review of their application materials (statements and CV) from a student volunteer. Participation in this program is separate from admissions and will not affect admissions.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until full. Please sign up here<https://forms.gle/MaMUfaEMr3URMMfS9> by November 20th to participate in this program. Participants will receive written feedback on their materials within a week.

Additionally, Mark Dredze<https://www.cs.jhu.edu/~mdredze/>, associate professor of CS in CLSP, will be hosting an Ask Me Anything session on Zoom on November 15th at 9:30 pm EST. All are invited to join and ask questions about admissions, CLSP and JHU. Please pre-register for this session here <https://forms.gle/LTb2JrrRZnLa6CVM9> to receive a zoom link.

Feel free to contact nverma7 at jhu.edu<mailto:nverma7 at jhu.edu> with any questions about our programs.

Thanks!

Kate Sanders
