Connectionists: Announcement: [Electronics] (IF: 2.397) Special Issue “Advances in Augmenting Human-Machine Interface “ – Paper Invitation (Deadline is approaching)

Dear Colleagues,

We hope you are doing well.

Electronics (ISSN 2079-9292) is an open access journal of MDPI indexed by
the Science Citation Index Expanded—Web of Science (Impact Factor—SCIE
(2020) = 2.397). This journal is currently running a Special Issue on
“Advances in Augmenting Human-Machine Interface”, in which I am serving as
the Guest Editor.

Based on your expertise, we would like to *invite you to publish an
original research article or Review paper in this Special Issue. Accepted
papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted)
and will be listed together on the special issue website.*

The main aim of this Special Issue is to seek high-quality submissions that
highlight emerging applications and address recent breakthroughs in
augmenting human–machine interface such as novel approaches of interaction,
machine learning methods utilizing physiological sensors, and real-time HMI
systems.

The submission deadline is *31 July 2022* and manuscripts may be submitted
at any point until 31 July 2022 as papers will be published on an ongoing
basis.

**Indexing* *

Electronics is a peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science of
electronics and its applications. The journal is indexed by the *Science
Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), Inspec (IET), and Scopus. Its
Impact Factor is 2.397 (2020).*

**Fast Publication**

Manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors
approximately 15.1 days after submission; acceptance to publication is
undertaken in 3.4 days (median values for papers published in this journal
in the second half of 2020).

All papers will be peer-reviewed as soon as submitted. The editorial
decision will be made about 35 days after submission, on average. The
accepted papers will be published continuously in this Special Issue as
soon as accepted, irrespective of the submission deadline, and will be
listed together on the Special Issue website.

**Article Processing Charge**

An article processing charge (APC) of 1800 CHF (Swiss Francs) applies to
each paper accepted after peer review.
