We cordially invite you to take part in the 8th Int. ScaDS.AI summer school on AI and data science that will take place from July 11-July 15 in Leipzig, one of the most beautiful and best cities to visit in Germany.
The early registration deadline ends at June 19th.

The program features many exiting presentations and tutorials by well-known researchers and research teams. The talks are grouped within the following topics of current interest:

- Data integration and AI
- NLP and AI
- Privacy and trustworthy AI
- AI in medicine and life sciences  
- AI in earth and environmental sciences.

Attending Ph.D. students can also present their research in a poster session as a means to enable additional interaction and discussion.
A diverse social program (city walk, boat tour, dinner) further increases the attractiveness of the program.


ScaDS.AI (Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) Dresden/Leipzig is one of the newly established permanent German research centers of excellence in Artificial Intelligence, funded by the German government as well as the state of Saxony.  
It started in 2014 as a national competence center for Big Data and has been extended to a center for AI and data science since 2019.  Its series of summer schools started
in 2015 so that we have now the 8th summer school in 2022 and after two virtual editions the 6th one with in-person presentations and participants.
