Connectionists: A New Society for Explainability, Safety and Trust in AI + a possible inaugural conference in San Francisco in late July, early August

Some of us are thinking of forming a new Society for Explainability, Safety and Trust in AI. We already have some members of this community show interest in such a society. We plan to have our first conference in late July or early August in San Francisco. And a separate journal will follow that.
