Dear Colleagues,
Please circulate this ad to any students that might be interested in a computational neuroscience PhD.
This could be an interesting project for neuroscience/psychology graduates wanting to get into modelling. But students can also learn about the neuroscience on the project. A quantitative background is an asset.
Topic:
Modelling the staggered development and the decline with age of spatial coding in the mammalian brain + data analysis of single neuron recordings.
Where:
At Newcastle University, UK (with me), with a rotation in the lab of Prof. Colin Lever (Durham, UK)
Funding:
Fully funded for 4 years by the BBSRC. International and UK students can apply. Fees are covered!
