*One post-doctoral and one PhD position in the field of deep machine 
learning at the University of Geneva*

The Machine Learning Group <https://mlg.unige.ch/> at the University of 
Geneva <https://www.unige.ch/en/>, headed by Prof. Francois Fleuret 
<https://fleuret.org/francois/about.html>, has one open post-doctoral 
position in the field of deep generative methods for flagrance 
synthesis, and one open PhD position in the field of representation 
learning and interpretability for reinforcement learning.

Ideal starting time is as soon as possible for the post-doctoral 
position, and early 2022 for the PhD candidate. Salaries are highly 
competitive.

Applicants must have a strong background in mathematics, in particular 
in probabilities, signal processing, optimization, and algorithmic and 
be seasoned programmers used to development with collaborative tools and 
machine learning frameworks (e.g. git, numpy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
