How to use explainable machine learning to design the next generation of 
urban drinking water systems? The machine learning lab at Bielefeld 
University offers several fully funded research positions for 
enthusiastic researchers willing to pursue a PhD in machine learning or 
machine learning experts who are eager to work on explainability in 
graph neural networks, in combining deep learning and physical modeling, 
in learning in non-stationary environments, or ML for human-centered 
decision support in the prestigious ERC Synergy grant Water Futures
