Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (https://www.oist.jp) invites applications for new faculty positions as part of its planned expansion.

Applications are invited in, but not limited to, the targeted areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and smart machines. Excellent scholarship and creativity are the main criteria for appointment. 

Successful candidates are expected to establish an active and independent research program, supervise Ph.D. students, teach graduate courses, and perform university services as required. Appointments will be Tenure-Track or Tenured. The starting date is negotiable.
