Dear all,
We are organizing the second edition of the conference “Emerging Topics in Artificial Intelligence”, which will take place from 1-5 August 2021 in San Diego, USA.
The aim of this conference is to bring together experts from different fields to discuss new applications of artificial intelligence to biomedicine, neuroimaging, microscopy, active matter and photonics.
Importantly, this conference will also count with the participation of industry to foster commercialization and utilization opportunities.
Please find more detailed information about the topics that will be covered at: http://spie.org/OP110.
Despite the ongoing pandemic situation and its unusual online format, the 1st edition held in 2020 was a major success with more than 3000 visualizations and 70 video talks. We hope to replicate and even advance this success in the new edition of the conference. At the moment we are planning to make the conference in person but, depending on the circumstances, we might change it to a virtual format.
The period for abstract submission is now open.
Please forward this information to anyone who might be interested.
Best wishes,
Joana B. Pereira (Karolinska Institute)
Giovanni Volpe (Gothenburg University)
Aydogan Ozcan (University of California)
Daniel Brunner (Institut Franche-Comte Electronique Mecanique Thermique et Optique)
