Connectionists: Lecturer (assistant professor) position in the Natural Language and Information Processing research group at University of Essex

The University of Essex's School of Computer Science and Electronic
Engineering is looking to hire a new lecturer in the Natural Language and
Information Processing research group (https://essexnlip.uk/) to further
strengthen our research and education expertise. Most recently, the work of
the NLIP group has focused around the intersection of language and vision,
researching how artificial/collective intelligence and multimodal
information processing can enable state-of-the-art applications in
inter-disciplinary fields such as human rights monitoring, environmental
science and healthcare.

We are particularly interested in candidates with research expertise in one
or more of the following areas:

* Natural Language Processing / Text Analytics / Computational Linguistics
* Information Retrieval / Enterprise Search
* Information Processing / Computer Vision
