Dear fellow scientists and modellers,

After some ups and downs, I am delighted to announce that the 4th Modelling
Symposium will take place in July, 2021 (26.07.2021 - 30.07.2021). Due to
the ongoing pandemic it will be an online seminar (using Zoom).

The symposium will provide you with an broad overview and introduction into
Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) covering a wide range of topics, including
basic introductions into DNNs, common building blocks, design patterns and
architectures, best practices, optimization, applications etc. For more

Summary/ General information:
•        The Symposium takes place in July (26.07.2021 - 30.07.2021, 4-day
Workshop) in Magdeburg, Germany.
•        The registration/pre-registration deadline is May, 1st (2021, CET).
•        The costs of the workshop are 0 € (NWG member), 150 € (non-NWG
member, academia) and 300 € (non-NWG member, outside academia).
•        There are possibilities to present your research/research idea
(poster) and discuss your project ideas/data with our tutor.
