I would like to draw your attention to a grant opportunity for young postdocs for an
independent research position in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany, see

The next deadline is already October 1., but competition seems to be moderate and strong
applications have a good chance of being funded.

You need to find a host institution in NRW, but I assume that most groups working in the
field of ML/AI would be happy to host you.
