Connectionists: POST-DOC in Lifelong Learning

The Siegelmann BINDS lab at UMass, Amherst is doing cutting edge research
in the field of next generation AI systems; the work focuses on developing
intelligent systems that learn in real time and apply learning to new,
never before encountered situations. Much of the work is biologically
inspired. Lab director, Hava Siegelmann just finished a four-year stint at
DARPA where she directed some of the most advanced work in this area in one
of the agency’s largest AI programs.



BINDS is now hiring Post-Docs in the area of advanced machine learning for
this research, with focus on time aware ML. Applicants should have a strong
backgrounds and abilities in:



1. Machine Learning foundations

2. Memory – neuroscience

3. Interest in lifelong learning, temporal processing,

4. Interest in time aware machine intelligence
