We are looking for a postdoc in Natural Language Processing and Information Processing for Sustainability assessment.

A position is available at the Center for Data-intensive Systems (Daisy), Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark. The position is available immediately with a flexible starting date within the next couple of months.

The postdoc position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to 2 years based on mutual agreement.

The topic is embedded within the context of the DREAMS project. Its overall goal is to promote progress on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by digitally transforming the way society accesses and communicates information about environmental impacts of projects and plans in order to enable the best  decisions towards green transition in a transparent and inclusive democratic process. In this context, the postdoc is expected to work on tasks, such as extracting, integrating, organizing, querying, and exploiting knowledge contained in sustainability reports and other data sources.

Employment:
The annual salary is approximately DKK 450.000 (ca. EUR 60,000), inclusive of pension contributions and pre taxes. For foreign researchers who qualify for the tax scheme for foreign researchers (PhD degree required), the annual salary inclusive of pension contributions and after taxes is approximately DKK 300,000 (ca. EUR 40,000).

* CV including a list of publications
* copies of up to five relevant publications (mainly for postdoc level)
* copies of certificates and grade sheets for all obtained degrees (English)
* contact information of at least two references

Location:
Depending on the qualifications of the candidates, the work place will either be our campus in Aalborg or Copenhagen.
