Dear Colleagues,

There's currently a lot of interest in AI, notably Deep Learning, and in achieving autonomous adaptive intelligence. The following new article summarizes foundational problems of Deep Learning, explains how Adaptive Resonance overcomes them, and outlines a blueprint for achieving autonomous adaptive intelligence:

Grossberg, S. (2020). A path towards Explainable AI and autonomous adaptive intelligence:
Deep Learning, Adaptive Resonance, and models of perception, emotion, and action.
