Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi invites applications for outstanding 
candidates for a five-year academic position (Chair of Excellence), open 
to candidates with a strong background in the field of Data Science and 
Deep Learning, and an experience of applied research projects. The 
candidate will work in close collaboration with Total, a major energy 
operator, sponsor of the position.

*Application deadline:*June 30th, 2020

*Qualifications: *PhD in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Machine 
Learning, or related areas. Excellent academic background and recognized 
experience in research fields above mentioned. Demonstrated 
international recognition in his/her own research field. Teaching 
experience.

*Grade:*Rank is at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor 
commensurate with experience
