Connectionists: Tenure Track Professorship in Machine Learning

The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz 
University of Technology is offering a tenure track professorship in 
Machine Learning.
We are looking for outstanding candidates with a research focus in the 
field of Machine Learning methods. Specific research topics include, but 
are not restricted to, the development and analysis of machine learning 
algorithms and the development of neuromorphic learning algorithms.

The professorship will be part of the Institute of Theoretical Computer 
Science. The institute is an internationally renowned research 
environment engaged in fundamental research at the intersection of the 
fields of Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning with an 
emphasis on brain-inspired principles of computation and learning. The 
successfully candidate will complement the existing strengths at the 
institute with his/her own expertise and build an internationally 
visible group. He/she will be an engaged teacher in the Computer Science 
programs at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level and will actively 
participate in academic self-administration.
