Ode to a (prospective) postdoc

A laboratory _ a clever postdoc seeks
On a rodent project _ with multiple techniques,
>From electro-opto _ to computational,
The fellow will study _ the navigational.

The fellow will explore _ complex environments
And will manipulate _ with care, in increments,
Various complexities _ in the environment
To understand the brain _ and the rodent intents.

The fellow will also, _ during deep sleep measure
Positive emotions _ and the dream of pleasure
Within hippocampus _ and cortical structure
Together synchronized _ in their rhythmic nature.

Many creative thoughts _ the fellow will produce
With fantastic colleagues _ together, will abduce
Neural mechanisms_ that will yield new insights.
Many publications, _  we hope, this work ignites.

The project is highly multi-disciplinary and will involve collaborations with other researchers in the US and abroad, therefore good communication skills are required.
