Connectionists: PhD Scholarship in Cyber Security at Queensland University of Technology

A PhD position in cyber security and machine learning is available at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia. This PhD program will contribute towards the vision of an automatic operational technology (OT) cyber security vulnerability prediction and attack discovery system that will provide automated ongoing vulnerability assessment and asset monitoring for OT systems.
This PhD project is supported by Australian Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (CSCRC) along with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia as the industry partner, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) as the research partner, and Griffith University as an external collaborative partner.
The call is open until 30 November 2019 for a start in Feb. 2020. Candidates are expected to hold a Bachelor degree with Honours 1 or 2A, a Master degree by research, or equivalent qualifications. In judging equivalence, QUT may consider previous study, other research experience, research publications, referees’ reports and relevant work experience. We are looking for a graduate within the broad fields of information technology.
