The first “International Workshop on Neurorobotics and Neural Disorders
(IWNND2019)” is a scientific event and a platform for exchange between
researchers, technology developers and clinicians around commercial and/or
research application of Neurorobotics in the context of neural disorders,
like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.

Neurorobotics is at the intersection of robotics and neuroscience and focus
on implementing neurobiological structures underlying animal behaviour in
robots. In this way, neurorobotics can facilitate the investigation of the
mechanisms of neural disorders and support the development of techniques
that can inform new therapies and be used as an alternative to animal
experiments.

The workshop will discuss promising approaches and challenges for robotics
community regarding the study of neural disorders. It will be a great
chance to meet our invited speakers and network with fellow roboticists and
neuroscientists plus a world-class audience from Universities, Research
Institutions and Companies.
