Does your research involve computationally intensive tasks
such as large scale modeling or data analysis? Come to the
workshop on

High Performance Computing Resources for Parallel Simulations
and Data Analysis: NSG and HPAC

to share your experience with others who are dealing with
similar challenges, and learn about resources that are
currently available and/or being developed that may help
accelerate your own research.

This workshop will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 8:30 AM
to 12:30 PM at a location in downtown San Diego. Space is
limited, and the registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 12,
so you should act early. For the on-line registration form
see

The workshop will include a combination of short presentations
and discussions. Confirmed speakers and topics include:

"The Neuroscience Gateway"
Amit Majumdar, Subhashini Sivagnanam, Kenneth Yoshimoto, Ted Carnevale

"Research Activities at the Human Brain Project's
High Performance Analytics and Computing Platform"
