8-14 September, 2018, Munich Germany
Call for Demos
The 2018 European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV 2018) is pleased
to invite researchers from both academia and industry to submit
applications to present live demonstrations as an opportunity to
showcase their research results and computer vision systems to the
conference attendees.
Academic applications are not limited to papers accepted to ECCV 2018 or
its workshops. Any demonstration showcasing the effectiveness of
computer vision methods are welcome. Industrial applications should
submit demos based on their ECCV 2018 accepted papers in the main
conference or workshops, or previously published papers at computer
vision conferences. The demo can be extended from the paper itself.
Demonstrations by industrial partners are welcome if focused on novel
research outcomes, while commercial products should be presented as part
of the ECCV Exhibits rather than as demonstrations.
Demonstrations will be held in parallel with the poster sessions during
the Main Conference (September 10-13). All submissions will be reviewed.
* Important dates: *
Demo submission: July 15th, 2018
Acceptance notification: August 7th, 2018
Demo dates: September 10-13, 2018
Demonstration applicants should fill out a Demo Expression of Interest
(available online at https://eccv2018.org/calls/calls-for-demos/) and
email it together with any supporting material to the Demo Chairs at
demos at eccv2018.org. The Demo Chairs will select demonstrations based on
