A postdoctoral position in computational neuroscience and/or visual psychophysics is available at Columbia University, New York, in the Department of Neuroscience and Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, housed in the new J L Green building where many computational and systems neuroscience labs are located. The postdoc will work with Drs. Misha Tsodyks and Ning Qian on a project investigating interactions between perceptual decoding and working memory and/or the related visual psychophysical tests. Candidates with a strong background in computational neuroscience, visual psychophysics, or a related field are encouraged to apply. The position is available immediately but the starting time can be discussed. Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, until the position is filled. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal. The salary follows Columbia University's standard, which is well above the NIH postdoctoral salary scale.
