Connectionists: Postdoctoral position to develop bio-inspired life-long learning machines, Emory University

The Prinz lab at Emory University in Atlanta invites highly motivated individuals

to apply for a Postdoc position starting immediately.

The overall aim of the project is to create bio-inspired lifelong learning machines. The project is a collaborative effort with partner labs at Georgia State University and the Georgia Institute of Technology that combines approaches from computer science and neurobiology.

The successful candidate is expected to hold a PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, neuroscience, biology, or a related area and have experience in one of the following topics:

- Neural Networks

- Neural Plasticity
- Neural Homeostasis
- Computational Modeling

- Machine Learning

- Electrophysiology

- Dynamic Clamp

Application:
The applicant should have a good track record of research
publications in an area related to the project aim.
