Two PhD positions are available in reinforcement learning.
The first (
https://www.chalmers.se/en/about-chalmers/vacancies/Pages/default.aspx?rmpage=job&rmjob=5034
) is at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and focuses on links
between approximate statistics, differential privacy, computational
complexity and reinforcement learning. This position is available for 5
years, and includes approximately 1 year of teaching duties and 1 year
of courses. The application deadline is on May 31st.
The second (

) is at University of Lille, INRIA-Lille, France, and focuses on
collaborative multi-agent reinforcement learning, when some of the
agents are sub-optimal, i.e. humans. This position would be available
for 3 years, and be 100% research.
Both positions require candidates with mathematical maturity and a
desire to work on theoretical aspects of reinforcement learning.
