An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious PhD graduate
to take on this strategic project with the support of mentors from the
company, University and Innovate UK. The project will develop an
intelligent financial management software tool to model debtor payment
behaviours using predictive analytics. This position is a 30 month fixed
term contract.
Qualifications we require:
You will hold a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or a mathematics based
subject involving both maths and computing. The ideal candidate will have a
strong foundation in data science / analytics including experience with
machine learning algorithms. Strong technical skills including experience
with query and data visualisation tools and experience of using MATLAB, R
or Python will be required. Some knowledge / experience of business
financial processes and experience of working in a commercial environment
would be an advantage.
