Special Issue on Twenty Years of XCS Classifier System
Manuscript submission: 1 August 2014

The introduction of XCS in 1995 by Stewart Wilson revived the research in
Learning Classifier Systems (LCS). Two decades later, XCS is still leading
and inspiring research in evolutionary machine learning.

Submissions are now invited for a special issue of Springer’s Evolutionary
Intelligence Journal marking the 20 years of XCS. The special issue will
consider the original contributions as well as the extended versions of
papers submitted to International Workshop on Learning Classifier Systems
(IWLCS 2014) and Evolutionary Machine Learning track of Genetic and
Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO 2014) co-held at Vancouver,
Canada on July 12-16, 2014.

First reviews to authors: 6 October 2014
Revised submissions: 3 November 2014
Revised reviews to authors: 1 December 2014
Camera ready: 15 December 2014
