The neuromorphic group at the Sevilla Microelectronics Institute, Spain,
welcomes
applications for participating in a government funded 4-year young
post-doc program.
The program is a two-step program, two years each. The present
announcement is for
the first two-year step. For the second two-year step, there will be a
continuation call
by the Spanish Government in due time.
Applicants must have defended their PhD after 1-Sep-2009. Gross salary
will be around 27,000€ (to be confirmed).
Applications are submitted by the destination research group and the
corresponding
institution, and are evaluated taking into the account the candidate's
CV, and the research
trajectory of the hosting research group.
Deadline for submitting the application is 24-February-2014.
Applications will be evaluated
nation wide. From previous years experience, the evaluation process
takes minimum 6 months.
Succesful candidates would work in one of the research lines of the
hosting research group.
The Neuromorphic Group at the Sevilla Microelectronics Institute works
on AER (Address Event Representation)
event-driven vision systems, developing chips, FPGA systems, as well as
theoretical analyses for artificial
vision, targeting applications like object recognition and scene
analysis for robotics and high speed vision.
