The Bernstein Conference on Computational Neuroscience started out as 
the annual meeting of the Bernstein Network (www.nncn.de) and has become 
the largest European Conference in Computational Neuroscience in recent 
years. This year, the Conference is organized by the Bernstein Center 
Tuebingen and will take place *S**eptember 25-27, 2013*. The Bernstein 
Conference is a single-track conference, covering all aspects of 
Computational Neuroscience and Neurotechnology. Sessions for poster 
presentations are an integral part of the conference. Call for abstract 
submission for posters will follow soon.

This year the Bernstein conference will feature, for the first time, a 
series of *pre-conference workshops* on *September 24-25**, 2013*. The 
goal is to provide an informal forum for the discussion of timely 
research questions and challenges. Controversial issues, open problems, 
and comparisons of competing approaches are encouraged.

Deadline for submission of proposals: April 2, 2013
Workshop times:
Sept 24, 14:00 - 18:30 & Sept 25, 9:00 - 12:30. You may apply for a 
half-day workshop, but preference will be given to full-day workshops.

Workshop costs:
The Bernstein Conference does not provide any financial support, but 
will provide 5 waivers per workshop (assigned by organizers). Please
