Registration is open for the 2011 International Joint Conference on Neural 
Networks, to be held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California, July 
31 – August 5, 2011. The conference is sponsored jointly by the 
International Neural Network Society and the IEEE Computational

On Thursday, August 4, IJCNN 2011 will feature a special plenary session 
focusing on how higher mental functions emerge from the neural substrate 
of the brain.
