Postdoctoral Position at University of Oldenburg, Germany

We are seeking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher to establish 
voltage sensitive dye imaging of neuronal activity at University of 
Oldenburg, Germany. The candidate will collaborate with research groups 
in the Research Center Neurosensory Science. These groups study neural 
network dynamics in leech ganglia and auditory processing mechanisms in 
the central nervous system of birds and mammals.

Since duties will include both experimental work and data analysis, 
candidates should have computer programming experience and a background 
in at least one of the fields:

-Imaging of neuronal activity

-Electrophysiology

-Advanced data analysis (preferably imaging data)

Initially, the position is offered for a period of two years, starting 
October 2011 at the earliest time. It is planned to extend the period, 
provided additional funding becomes available. Reviewing of applications 
will start on August 15^th 2011 until the position is filled.
