RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION -- PRINCETON UNIVERSITY

A position as a Research Assistant is available in the laboratory of Dr. Matthew
Botvinick, in the Department of Psychology and the Princeton Neuroscience
Institute at Princeton University. Research in the lab employs functional
neuroimaging, behavioral methods and computational modeling to understand
basic cognitive functions, including cognitive control, working memory, action
programming, and language processing.

Research Assistant responsibilities include subject recruitment, designing,
programming and running behavioral and imaging experiments, data analysis,
some administrative work, and the mentoring of undergraduates in the lab.
The position will begin in the summer of 2011. A commitment of two years is
required.

A background in psychology, neuroscience, or computer science is preferred, as
is familiarity with basic statistical procedures (ANOVA, regression). Familiarity
with Unix and MATLAB, and some experience with computer programming are
also desirable.

The final candidate must successfully pass an MR safety screening in
order to work in the MR environment.
