Connectionists: fall course on computational neuroscience in Goettingen, Germany

Applications are invited for the sixth fall course on
COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE in Goettingen, Germany
September 22 - 26, 2008
organized by H. Schrobsdorff and J. M. Herrmann
The course is intended to provide graduate students and young researchers from all
parts of neuroscience with working knowledge of theoretical and computational
methods in neuroscience and to acquaint them with recent developments in this field.
The course includes tutorials and lectures of the following researchers:
* Gaute Einevoll
* Daniel Durstewitz
* Marc van Rossum
* Hamutal Slovin
* Alessandro Treves
The course takes place at the Department of Nonlinear Dynamics of the Max-Planck
Institute for Dynamics and Selforganization, Bunsenstr. 10, D-37073 Goettingen.
A course fee of 100 Euro includes participation in the tutorials, study materials,
and part of the social events. The number of participants is limited to about 30.
Course language is English.
